NEW YEAR'S EVE LABYRINTH WALK

       Spiral into the New Year

   and join others by walking the

  candlelit path of the labyrinth. 

WEATHER PERMITTING, WE WILL WALK THE LABYRINTH

ON THE LAWN ADJACENT TO OUR BUILDING AT 2330 BEACON ST.

Imbolc ~ Brighid's Day

Tuesday, January 31, 2012 -- 7:00pm

Join us in a celebration of the Celtic Fire Festival of Imbolc which bids farewell to Winter and welcome to Spring.  We also honor Brighid, who is a central goddesss and saint in the Celtic tradition.

  5:30 PM ~ Making of Brighid's Crosses

   These crosses can be placed above the doorway of your home as an invocation of the power and protection of Brighid for the

   coming year.  Please register by January 20, 2012 as materials need to be purchased for the crosses.  Cost: $5.00

  7:00 PM ~ Ritual Begins

  As part of the ritual we will burn the crosses which were made last year.You may wish to bring a small token to adorn the communal

  Brighid doll which represents the new life of Spring.  To honor Brighid, you are invited to share one of your favorite poems, songs,art

  work or any creative expression.

  You may attend  the entire evening's activities or only one part.

Both celebrations are held at Beacon Heights Church of the Brethern located at 2810 Beacon Street (corner of Beacon St. and kenwood Ave).
